Who we are

What we collect, and why

We collect only what a feature needs.

• Sign in with Google: your name, email, profile photo link and Google account ID. We never see your Google password.
• Your profile, if you fill it in: a mobile number and an address in India, so Stella’s team can reach you about a booking. Both optional; no SMS, never used for marketing.
• While signed in: sign-in times, IP address and browser description, so you stay signed in and can see where your account is used.
• Bookings and payments: the astrologer, time, rate, and the amounts paid, charged and returned. Card, UPI and bank details go straight to Razorpay; Stella never receives them.
• Consultations: when each person joined and left and, for a call, how long you were both connected — this is what the per-minute charge is worked out from. Calls are not recorded. Chat messages are stored, and you can read them again in your account.
• Birth details in Kundli, Kundli Matching and Panchang: calculated on Stella’s own server and not stored — unless you are signed in and choose to save a Kundli. Your device location is used only if you allow it, to fill in coordinates.
• Reviews, support requests, the waitlist and the Stella wallet: what you write or add there.

Who else receives it

Google (sign-in, the emails we send you, website fonts), Razorpay (payments and refunds), 100ms (carries the audio of a call, labelled only “Customer” or “Astrologer”) and Cloudflare (database backups in private storage). Astrologers see their own bookings and chats, never your email, phone number or address. Daily horoscopes come from ProKerala or AstrologyAPI; no personal data is sent to them. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

• Unconfirmed waitlist entries: 30 days.
• Database backups: 30 days.
• Reviews, saved Kundlis, chat messages and support conversations: until you delete them or your account.
• Your profile’s mobile number and address: until you clear them or delete your account.
• Booking, payment and refund records: as long as accounting and tax law requires — kept even after account deletion, with nothing that identifies you.

Deleting and seeing your data

Delete your account yourself: My account → Account & privacy → Delete my account. Your name, email, photo, sign-in link, mobile number, address, reviews, saved Kundlis, chat messages, support conversations and waitlist entry are deleted, and you are signed out everywhere. The page first shows what goes, what the law makes us keep, and anything to settle first (such as a session still to come).

Delete a review or a saved Kundli at any time from your account. Remove a waitlist entry from the Your data page. Correct your name, mobile number and address yourself: My account → Profile. To see what we hold, or to correct anything else, write to guruji@stellaastro.com.

Our security log records that an action happened, never your name, email or what you wrote — so deletion leaves nothing personal behind in it.
